Biography:
Dominic is a Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) alumnus with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science. He joined Mote Marine Laboratory’s Red Tide Institute in 2025 as a Research Technician, where he supports the department’s harmful algal bloom (HAB) research through field sampling, laboratory analysis, and data management. He is particularly interested in applied research that supports marine ecosystem health and environmental monitoring. Outside of work, Dominic enjoys fishing and camping, which reflects his passion for working outdoors and engaging directly with the natural environment.
