11/17/2025 This subadult turtle was found roughly one mile off Siesta Beach, Sarasota County. The animal was caudally buoyant with the left side high. Upon intake, the turtle was given fluids and is now in low water.
12/19/2025 Lil Buoy continues to improve and is currently on an oral antibiotic. Water level remain low and is being gradually raised as his condition improves.
